Angel in Heaven

Your memory will always live in the hearts

of those that have always loved you, dear (Name).

Like an angel in heaven can you watch over

your beloved whom you left behind in deep sorrow.

The world to give

If I had all the world to give,
I’d give it, yes, and more,
To hear his/her voice, see his/her smile,
And greet him/her at the door.
But all I can do, dear Father/Mother
Is go and tend your grave,
And leave behind tokens of love
To the best father/mother God made.
I like to think when life is done,
Wherever heaven may be,
He'll/She’ll be standing at the door
Up there to welcome me

Evening Prayer

O Lord support us all the day long
of this troublous life,
‘til the shades lengthen
and the evening comes.
The busy world is hushed,
the fever of life is over
and our work is done.
Then, Lord in Thy great mercy
grant us a safe lodging,
a holy rest and peace at last
Through Christ our Lord. Amen

The curtain falls

There comes a time for all of us
When we must say goodbye,
But memories of those we love
Live on and never die.
Although the curtain falls at last,
Is that a cause to grieve?
The future life is brighter still
If only we believe.
So trust in God’s eternal care,
And when the Master calls,
We’ll know a fairer world’s beyond,
Although the curtain falls. 

The day God took you home

Prayer to obtain The Glorification of

Padre Pio

O JESUS, full of grace and charity, victim for sinners, so impelled by love for us that you willed to die on the cross, I humbly beseech you to glorify in Heaven and on earth the servant of God, Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, who generously participated in your sufferings, who loved so much and laboured so faithfully for the glory of your heavenly Father and for the good of souls.

With confidence I beseech you to grant me, through his intercession, the grace… which I ardently desire.

God bless you, Mother, in your grave

Father

We lost a father with a heart of gold
How much we miss him can never be told,

For many years the family chain,
Was closely linked together;

Given to us from God above.
We didn't know how much you would teach us
About the meaning of true love...
For true love sometimes means letting go
Of someone precious and dear.
That is what we were forced to do...
Although we wanted to keep you here!!!
However, this is quite a selfish wish.
One we know we should ignore...
But, sweet (name), we truly do believe
That God must have needed you more...
Perhaps to be an Angel now,
Full of wisdom and love...
Watching over those of us who love you
From the shining stars above.
We miss you more than you can know.
You will never be replaced...
